I have lived outside Portugal; England, USA Spain and currently in the Netherlands Amsterdam. But I always love to return to my country of origin.

After renovating a characteristic 19th-century apartment in Lisbon, our pied-à-terre in Lisbon #belem1886#, we decided to challenge ourselves in the southeasternmost part of Portugal, Vila Real Santo Antonio, Algarve. We call it Casa Dar'Alma, "A welcoming and warm space. A fusion of cultures. Where tradition and modernity meet, in the authentic rhythm of the Algarve. Presenting our new home. A place where we can connect and reconnect, where we have time for ourselves and for the family. A place that radiates calm, harmony and a sense of belonging. Here, life slows down, inviting you to fully embrace the present moment, to live in the "now". It is a place where each detail cultivates good feelings. This place is not just ours – it is to be shared with family and friends, just like our pied-à-terre in Lisbon #belem1886. Occupancy: (maximum of 6 guests) In the centre of Vila Real de Santo Antonio, Casa Dar'Alma occupies two levels and a large roof terrace. Enter directly into a spacious and open area where the living room, dining room, kitchen and courtyard are integrated, ensuring soft and natural light throughout the day, perfectly blending together. On the first floor, you will find two bedrooms with a deliberately minimalist look, displaying their clean lines and colours. Casa Dar'Alma is characterised by soft lighting and essential design throughout its extent, the result of careful personal research and reflection.

The apartment is located at Rua Primeiro de Maio, one of Vila Real de Santo Antonio main central streets. The building is easily accessible by car or taxi. Check-in is done in person. A member of our team will meet you at the agreed time to hand over the keys, show you around the apartment, and answer any questions you may have.
